Packing Operative (Dayshift)
Immediate start
Ongoing contract
Location Perth
Rate - 12.08 per hour

Our client, a successful manufacturing business is seeking a Packing Operative to support their busy logistics department on a contract basis.

The hours of work (37 hours/week) are rotational:

Dayshift week about: Week 1 Monday: 08:00 16:30 Tuesday: 08:00 16:30 Wednesday: 08:00 16:00 Thursday: 08:00 16:00 Friday: 08:00 14:00

Week 2 Monday: 06:00 14:30 Tuesday: 06:00 14:30 Wednesday: 06:00 14:00 Thursday: 06:00 14:00 Friday: 06:00 12:00

The role is ensuring that the packaging of all products and associated accessories is completed on time and to a high standard to meet customers expectations. This is achieved by working within the following areas of responsibility

Carton packing
Final packing
Production support
Health and safety
Communication

Previous experience working within a packing, logistics, distribution or warehouse environment is desired.
