Full Job Description

Are you adept at DIY? An experienced painter and decorator looking to develop your career in a world-class luxury hotel? Then we invite you to join us as Painter and Handyperson at Rocco Forte Hotels. As a key member of our busy engineering facility, you will be responsible for preserving the immaculate appearance of the hotel's decor and carrying out vital repair work to help facilitate the most comfortable, highest quality and safest stay for our guests. Supporting the maintenance team, you will take pride in ensuring paintwork throughout the hotel is perfect, and any mechanical/electrical defects are rectified. While happy working alone, you'll also thrive as part of a team, communicating with colleagues with confidence and sensitivity. Naturally, you will be fully conversant with current health and safety regulations and will demonstrate an adaptable approach to meeting the varied day-to-day demands of the role. In turn, you will be given the support for further training, upskilling and development. Ultimately, your insight, commitment and pride in your work will make you an integral part of the Rocco Forte family.
