Full Job Description
As a Painter/Blaster at NOV Kintore, you will play a crucial role in the blasting and spray painting of NOV-manufactured products. Your work will adhere to both our company's processes and our customers' standards, consistently upholding our reputation for high-quality output in a dynamic production environment. - Operate machinery safely and effectively, ensuring compliance with HSE and housekeeping standards.
- Prepare and paint components for assembly and production.
- Review work orders to fully understand job requirements.
- Apply paint finishes-including primer and top coat-using suction-fed spray guns in either open-fronted, force-ventilated booths or spray booths.
- Ensure proper paint coverage by checking wet film thickness.
- Conduct surface preparation through shot blasting and cleaning.
- Optimize workflow by moving components to the appropriate stations.
- Participate in daily team briefings, actively contributing to discussions about potential challenges.
- Identify and address technical issues, proposing solutions when possible.
- Report quality-related concerns to the Section Leader.
Strong ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information. - Effective problem-solving skills with practical solutions.
