Conveyancing Paralegal

Location: Aberdeen (City Centre)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Reed Legal are working to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal to join one of our clients in Aberdeen, a well-known Scottish Firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their Paralegal Career or for an experienced candidate. This role offers the chance to handle a diverse range of conveyancing tasks with a focus on excellence and client satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage all conveyancing formalities for sales, purchases, and private remortgage transactions, communicating effectively with banks, companies, and other entities involved in conveyancing transactions, handling at least 30 transactions per month
  • Take instructions from clients, handle all compliance requests and draft, collate, and dispatch supporting legal and financial documents
  • Handle the financial aspects of transactions, including receiving and checking mortgage instructions from lenders
  • Oversee the conveyancing process from the conclusion of missives to completion, including the timely registration of deeds

Who You Are:

  • You possess a legal background of work-experience or education, with Registered Paralegals or those with experience in Scottish conveyancing being a bonus but not essential
  • Skilled in organisation, self-management, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Knowledgeable about residential conveyancing procedures and ID/AML regulations
  • Have the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
