Full Job Description
As Paralegal you will handle multiple legal duties and projects across all areas of FieldCore's global business and work on a diverse scope of projects and initiatives and contributes to or influences process improvements. How you will make the difference:
- Prepare and review legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
- Research legislation, regulations, and case law to ensure the company's policies and procedures remain compliant
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external teams
- Draft and update corporate entity documentation including trackers, databases, forms, letters, and Powers of Attorney
- Co-ordinate the signing of corporate records including resolutions and arrange for the notarization and apostille of documents as required
- Attend Board meetings and provide support to FieldCore company Boards and Officers
- Provide litigation support, including the issuance of document retention notices, the collection and organization of information, and responding to subpoenas, requests for production of documents and interrogatories.
- Communicate with external counsel and maintain a log of legal spend in line with the company's overall legal budget
- Maintain a knowledge & know-how database in relation to legal transactions and documentation
- Raise Purchase Orders for members of the legal team and receive legal invoices
- Maintain contact details of external counsel and update from time to time
- Prepare and present legal topic training
You will be a professional individual with legal experience gained within a corporate environment or law firm. Furthermore, you will: - Have the ability to manage own caseload and carry out tasks independently with minimal oversight
- Be ability to analyse legal documents and clearly and concisely summarize document related issues as well as maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Hold high level of proficiency in Microsoft applications, with advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master's degree in Law are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
