Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting our established client again with the recruitment of an experienced Paraplanner to join their team in Inverurie.

Our client provides bespoke consultancy advice to commercial and private clients. Their team is truly independent, so they can offer the best advice from across the market, finding the most suitable products and services to suit their clients.

They are looking for a Paraplanner to join their growing business. The role will involve working closely with the existing paraplanners to support their Advisers in looking after a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be provided with a broad exposure to financial planning matters.

THE ROLE

 Compiling suitability reports detailing the recommended advice to suit the client's needs

 Using various providers systems for carrying out specific client actions including rebalancing, fund switches, withdrawals, amendments to income and submitting new business

 Completing Fund, Model, DFM and Platform research and analysis

 Carrying out product analysis and comparisons

 Instructing the IFA Administrator to proceed with preparation of the pack for the client

 Providing technical support to advisers and administrators regarding complex planning matters

 Implementing recommendations

 Preparing reports for client review meetings

 Updating client information and relevant spreadsheets

 Building and maintaining client relationships

 General administration

THE PERSON

You will have demonstrable knowledge and experience of Paraplanning, including knowledge of appropriate back-office systems such as Intelligent Office (I.O.) FE Analytics, Cashflow Modelling, Wrap comparators, etc.

You will be organised, analytical, able to follow direction and demonstrate attention to detail.

Integrity, intuition, flexibility, and the ability to work as a member of a team are also essential qualities.

Preferred starting level of qualification for this role is the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
