P&L Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established organisation based in Glasgow to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis. My client is flexible on the candidate working 2 or 3 days. The successful candidate will have a proactive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a busy environment.

The main duties:

• Purchase ledger duties
• Processing invoices
• Sales ledger duties
• Cash allocation
• Bank reconciliations
•  Assisting with payroll – adding new starters and leavers
•  Any other accounts duties

The main requirements:

• Previous accounts experience is essential
• Sage experience would be preferred
• Highly proficient IT skills, including Excel
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment
