Part-Time Retail Assistant - Bakery Shop

Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for reliable and organised individual to become a Retail Assistant, with our Dunfermline based bakery client.

• Flexible hours are available, within the stores open hours of 5am to 6:30pm

Working as a Retail Assistant, your role will be centred around providing excellent service to customers, ensuring that everyone who comes into the bakery has a great experience.

• Serving customers, providing excellent customer service
• Cash management (cash handling, card transactions, gift cards)
• Assisting with and maintaining merchandising activities and retail standards
• Rotate and replenish stock on the shop floor
• Undertake general cleaning duties
• Answer any questions from customers
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

To be successful you will ideally have previous experience in a customer service/sales environment. Plus, have a polite, friendly and approachable manner; be organised and able to work on your own and as part of a team; be able to remain calm and cope well on a busy shop floor. As well as:

• Be a charismatic and positive individual with an outgoing personality
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Great time management and multitasking skills
