Part Time Van Maintenance Supervisor

Oversee the management of approximately 50 vans at the Edinburgh site.
Complete and update fleet check sheets as instructed by the Fleet Manager.
Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and comply with legal requirements.
Ensure weekly van assessments are completed by the Operations Manager.
Assist with in-house driver training programs
Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks.
Record driver changeovers in the database and complete thorough vehicle handovers.
Document and report any damage, fuel, or valet charges and liaise with Fleet and Finance Managers.
Ensure vans are clean and well-maintained, following standards for pay deductions if necessary.
Champion safe driving and provide feedback on driver safety scores and incidents.
Manage accident reports, ensuring all necessary details and documentation are collected.
Keep track of tools, stocks, and supplies for vehicle maintenance.
Coordinate servicing, MOTs, repairs, and vehicle hiring/off-hiring with local agencies.
Conduct driver training and assessments for new and existing drivers.
