The firm:

Our client has an enviable and strong legacy within the Scottish market and a reputation for delivering exceptional results. They are known for punching above their weight in terms of client portfolios, including high-profile names across various sectors.

The business has recently signed off on an ambitious five-year growth plan and are looking for a new partner to help them achieve these ambitious and exciting goals through client onboarding, staff development, and a fresh set of eyes and ideas from an alternative CA firm.

The Role:

The position will focus primarily on business services, financial reporting, and high-level business advisory, with a small allocation of audit work, between 5% & 10%. The expectation is that the relevant individual will be or be willing to become an RI.

The position is open to those operating at a senior level at present, either Senior Manager in a large set up, or Director grade in the mid-tier space. The business will assist with all relevant institution memberships, and certificate requirements for signing rights with practising certificates and RI status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive business services and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial management strategies that drive client success.
  • Offer high-level business advisory services, guiding clients in achieving their strategic objectives.
  • Supervise a small amount of audit work (approximately 5-10% of total responsibilities).
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to execute our five-year growth plan and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive salary and attractive benefits package.
  • Equity partnership opportunities.
  • Opportunity to become RI.
  • A chance to make a significant impact on a business as they embark on a new and exciting growth journey.
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment with a focus on professional development.
  • 1ST time Partner opportunity.

Key Experience:

  • ICAS/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in business services and financial reporting, with a strong background in high-level advisory.
  • Proven history of managing client relationships and driving client success.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire a team and promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for growth and innovation.
