Are you interested in taking an active role in shaping the future of Scotland's National Litter and Flytipping Strategy?

This role will deliver on Zero Waste Scotland's key actions in shaping the future delivery model for litter and flyipping through research, stakeholder engagement and development of the data strategy.


We want you if you have;

  • Demonstrable experience of stakeholder/customer/partner engagement by sharing technical knowledge.
  • Strong organisational skills with experience of developing and implementing project plans successfully.
  • Excellent track record of managing delivery and achieving outcome-based targets in similar specialist area.

An understanding and/or experience of the National Litter and Flytipping Strategy, delivery partners and stakeholders, and an understanding of data management are desirable.


What you'll be doing;

This role will deliver on Zero Waste Scotland's key actions in the National Litter and Flytipping Strategy, namely shaping the future delivery model for litter and flyipping through research, and stakeholder engagement.

As a key contact in this specialist area, the role will be specifically responsible for managing stakeholder engagement, providing expert advice and support to key stakeholders, and driving forward key development activities, including the litter and flytipping data strategy.


The postholder will lead on a range of specialist activities to drive engagement with the future delivery model for litter and flytipping, inluding contributing to the scoping, commissioning and analysing of research and data reports.

There'll be times when you're required to attend our Stirling office or a client location (normally within the Central Belt of Scotland) therefore applicants should live within a comfortable distance to commute easily to Stirling. The office is located next to the railway station and is conveniently accessed from across central Scotland.
