Base Location:Perth or Glasgow, however any UK or Ireland SSE office location will be considered., Are you ready to help shape the future of international energy markets? As Partnership Funding Manager - International, you'll be at the forefront of SSE's exciting global expansion. You'll coordinate, guide and manage public funding with a focus on Renewables activities in the Netherlands, Japan, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, and Poland. You'll also have the chance to contribute to bid activities in the UK and Ireland, engaging with all SSE business areas, including Networks, Renewables and Thermal.

This 12 month fixed-term role is perfect for someone seeking internal secondment or external fixed term contract, especially those with public sector experience looking for a development opportunity.

- Collaborate globally: You'll work hand-in-hand with SSE's international teams to uncover key business drivers and innovation priorities in each of the target markets.

- Map the funding landscape: Develop a detailed understanding of the funding opportunities in each of the target markets and create a comprehensive 'funding catalogue' of potential funders, opportunities and insights.

- Engage externally: Build strong relationships with key funders in each target market, working closely with public affairs and policy colleagues to enhance SSE's profile in these new markets.

- Assess opportunities: Manage an opportunity assessment process, helping the business identify and progress relevant funding opportunities into successful bid production.

- Lead bid production: Coordinate the production of detailed funding bids, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across business development, finance, engineering, procurement, project planning, regulation and other specialities.

Funding expertise: Experience with public sector funding programs for research and development (R&D), innovation, or pilot projects, either as a funder or applicant.

- Energy sector knowledge: Knowledge of the energy sector policy drivers and a sound understanding of public sector institutions and funding sources.

- Proven leadership: Experience leading the production of high-quality proposals or reports with multi-disciplinary teams and project partners under tight deadlines.

- Strong communication skills: Excellent interpersonal and coordination abilities.

Salary:£47,600 - £71,600 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
