This is a rolling advert, applications are checked on a regular basis

The post will be weekdays only (no weekend working or evenings) during school term time. Most journeys will be to accompany and support children to and from school in taxis or minibuses. You'll be under no obligation to accept work and each assignment will be agreed with you in advance., Are you looking for a role that is genuinely rewarding and gives you the chance to make a real difference to peoples' lives? Look no further, we're recruiting Passenger Assistants to support children and vulnerable adults travelling to and from school and care services.

About the role

You'll ensure that our passengers always have safe and comfortable journeys.

You'll work closely with passengers, drivers, parents / carers, the Passenger Transport team, schools and care providers and have a pro-active approach to resolving issues. You'll be part of a tight-knit, highly-supportive team, so will always have help and guidance when needed.

Salary: £24,404 pa pro rata plus 12.66% annual leave rate. You'll be paid hourly for hours worked., No two days will be the same and we can promise that seeing your passengers safe and happy will give you a genuine sense of achievement.
