Full Job Description

Anderson Knight are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator for an exciting client, a growing and established business based in Glasgow. This role would be starting off on a week-to-week temporary basis with the view of being a permanent position working Mon-Fri 9-5 remotely. Salary is £25,000 to £29,000 depending on experience, plus company pension and benefits.


Responsibilities:


  • · Undertaking Payroll and general bookkeeping, working with Sage, Xero
  • · Preparing a large monthly payroll for processing.
  • · Bank analysis and reconciliations
  • · Preparation and submission of Vat returns
  • · Processing pensions
  • · CIS preparation and reporting

Skills and Experience required for the Payroll/Bookkeeper role:

  • Previous bookkeeping and payroll experience
  • Experience of bookkeeping software, i.e. Sage, Xero etc
  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise workloads
