Full Job Description
Payroll Specialist 10 minutes from Glasgow Centre
I'm pleased to be working with an established and successful business based on the outskirts of Glasgow to help source a Payroll Specialist on a temporary basis. This is an interim role for approximately three months with the potential to go permanent for the right person.
The role will be responsible for the processing and accuracy of Payroll and Auto Enrolment and all other associated work RTI, BACS, P60s, and HMRC enquiries etc. Additionally, you will provide a comprehensive service to the Group by processing their payrolls.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that weekly wages and monthly salaries are paid accurately in accordance with monthly payroll deadlines (including auto-enrolment deadlines).
- Filing pension contribution files to the appropriate pension schemes
- Explaining calculations and deductions to Line Managers and their employees and resolving any queries.
- Advising Company on any changes to UK payroll tax rules.
- Advising Company on the payroll implications of providing employee benefits and preparing P11D submissions.
- Ensuring that payroll is signed off in line with required regulation, compliantly, accurately and on time.
- Produce payroll reports for the Company as required.
The ideal candidate will have strong payroll experience and be immediately available to support for a 3-month period. However, given the urgency of the role, a strong accounts assistant who has had payroll as part of their roles before will also be considered.
If this sounds interesting to you, please reach out to Ethan at Wilkinson Associates or press apply.
