Full Job Description

Develop, implement and monitor corporate physical and personnel protective security policies, procedures and guidance to ensure security threats to the council are minimised and legislation is adhered to. This includes ensuring these practices comply with all relevant statutory requirements and that policies and procedures effectively meet the council's vision for physical and personnel security management.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This post requires a Disclosure Scotland Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of this check being deemed satisfactory.

This post has a minimum requirement of one reference, which must be your current or most recent employer.
