Full Job Description

Overview The Performance Improvement Lead role is a key role in driving manufacturing practises at the Cupar site. The role sits within the Manufacturing excellence team but the breadth of the role will mean likely that the role can and will work with all functions on site in delivering operational excellence in the safest manner whilst ensuring we have the optimum quality standards every day. Influencing across all levels at site, candidates will need to be able to demonstrate & give live examples of strong leadership skills. Responsibilities Governance of QCDM Process: KPIs, Meetings, Escalation, IPS implementation & use of 5Y App. Support QCDM meetings - Providing Feedback to Facilitators and attendees where appropriate. Analyse KPI information e.g Downtime data - propose possible improvement work streams with the CI team. Drive the Implementation of Digitalisation Workstreams at Site - E.g. Swipeguide, PowerApps, Use of Tablets. Deliver and Support Delivery of appropriate Training
Sessions for Levelled and Front-Line Teams - e.g. Problem Solving. Support & Coach GEMBA walks. Promote CI initiatives from all levels at Cupar. Maintain & Improve our site lean physical standards. Site Point of Contact for: Lineview, Enterprise View & Sugarich. Qualifications Excellent interpersonal skills, with a co-operative style that builds strong relationships and respect for others. Strong coach and facilitator with the ability to influence behaviors at all levels. Self starter with the ability to think strategically and develop action plans through the prioritisation of work streams. A strong role model for Safety, Environmental, Quality and Food Safety behaviors. Flexible working style to suit the priorities and coverage of other production areas. Can use data to identify trends & offer solutions. Demonstrated interest/track record in Lean manufacturing & practical application of Lean tools to solve problems.
