Full Job Description

In this dynamic role you will be collaborating with the Business Leaders to deliver on initiatives to transform and improve business performance. You will continually push the boundaries for performance. You will engage with the daily operational review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities. As a member of the Blackgrange leadership team, the PIL will be part of the duty manager rotation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Standing in the future to build possibilities for today. Finding opportunities to improve asset performance
  • Championing demonstrating Manufacturing Excellence techniques and standard methodology on Management of Change
  • Leading partners with a strong ability to work cross functionally across all levels of the organisation to lead and deliver performance ambition.
  • Being externally curious to build ideas based on internal and external processes and standards
  • Using data analytics to provide performance data and drive CI activities into the operation through insightful interpretation of data
  • Coach and Develop autonomous maintenance standards (continuously evolving), and MMS practices
  • Support Operation teams to drive an integrated approach to continuous improvement at T1 & T2
  • Using loss identification to deliver world class improvement performance while working with operational teams and partners

  • To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Effective Communication: Working in partnership with other teams to deliver organisational effectiveness and improved business performance.
  • Process Environment Proficiency: Experience in a production/process environment, coupled with the strong skill to cultivate partnerships, will enhance organizational efficiency and elevate business performance.
  • Proficiency in Strategies and Techniques: Use of manufacturing excellence standard methodology, such as 5S, Lean Six Sigma, reliability-centred maintenance, and beyond.
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to pursue NEBOSH General Certificate to showcases your dedication to growth and mastery in your craft

    Blackgrange is a key site within the Scotch spirit supply chain. The site consists of warehousing, disgorging for malt and grain spirits. It is a very busy site, taking spirit in cask from the filling stores and supplying whisky to packaging, and third parties and operates all year round.
