This is permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 Hours: 10 hours per week (Monday to Friday, flexible) Are you compassionate, understanding, and looking to make a real difference in someone's life? We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a 52-year-old woman in building a routine and enhancing her quality of life. Living with complex PTSD and chronic pain, she needs a supportive and encouraging PA to help her attend social activities, care for her pets, and maintain daily routines. Your role will include:
- Encouraging her to shower, eat regularly, and engage in light exercise (gentle walks with her dogs).
- Accompanying her to appointments, the cinema, and coffee outings to help build confidence in the community.
- Assisting with light housework, such as hoovering and changing beds.
A caring attitude, patience, and a good sense of humour. - Reliability, flexibility, and an encouraging approach.
- Experience in personal care or support work is beneficial but not essential. Please note: This role requires PVG membership (Protecting Vulnerable Groups). You will need to provide a copy of your certificate to your new employer.
