Full Job Description
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a 6-year-old girl after school and during holidays. She has Phelan-McDermid Syndrome, which means she has a developmental delay and is non-verbal-but she's full of energy and loves parks, nursery rhymes, cars, and sensory activities!
Your role will include:
Engaging her in play and social activities (building trust is key!).
Providing personal care (she wears nappies).
Accompanying her to outings and activities.
A caring, patient, and engaging approach.
A good sense of humour and reliability.
Experience with children with additional needs is beneficial but not essential.
Please note: This role requires PVG membership (Protecting Vulnerable Groups). You will need to provide a copy of your certificate to your new employer.
