We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a 14-year-old girl with CFC syndrome. Despite the challenges she faces, she is a vibrant and lively individual who loves to laugh and enjoy life. About the Role As a Personal Assistant, you will be supporting our client with personal care, social activities, and day-to-day tasks to help her remain independent and engaged with her favorite hobbies. Our client:
- Requires gastrostomy (button) feeding support; Level 3 training in gastrostomy care is ideal, but training can be provided.
- Walks indoors but uses a wheelchair for longer distances.
- Loves shopping for toys, swimming, bowling, and outings.
- Is double incontinent but can drink orally.
- Is small for her age but has a big personality and loves to laugh and explore new activities! Your Role Includes:
- Providing personal care and button feeding assistance.
- Accompanying her to activities and outings, helping her to enjoy her favorite hobbies.
- Suggesting and supporting engaging social activities.
We are looking for someone with: - A caring attitude and a good sense of humor.
- Reliability and a positive, flexible approach to work.
- Experience in similar roles (preferred but not essential). Applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check.
