Personal Assistant - 6 Hours Per Week (SDS / CA / 312185)

6 hours per week - 2 hours x 3 days during school term time with extra hours available during school holidays.

We are looking for personal assistant to help a 15-year-old female who would like support with personal care.

Our client has complex care needs including Congenital Cytomegalovirus Infection, Epilepsy, West Syndrome, Learning Disability, hearing impairments and Visual impairment.

Our client is non-ambulant and makes use of a hoist. The client's personal care will involve washing and bathing. The client is also double incontinent, and part of the role will be assisting with this.

You will be required to provide support with personal care and maintaining a daily routine. Due to there being some manual lifting and moving, a good level of fitness will be required.

You must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.

• Hoist, Pep mask, Pump and Suction trained essential.



• Member of the PVG Membership Scheme or a willingness to have a PVG Check Undertaken.



• A clean driver's license would be preferential as the client has a mobility vehicle that can be used.
