Personal Assistant / Care Worker

I am physically challenged in my daily life, so I am looking for a Personal care Assistant to support me, You should be friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour, you must be reliable, trustworthy, punctual and a non-smoker.

My Personal care Assistant will be required to work one to one with me, so it is important that you are aware of and sensitive to my needs, it is important that you can be discreet but maintain an open and honest relationship with me.

It is expected you will have Experience as a personal care assistant or carer so as to help give me the right assistance to lead my life independently the way I choose, It is therefore vital that my Personal care Assistant has good communication and listening skills.

If you're a compassionate, positive person having a proven track record of caring for the disabled, this will make you a strong candidate for this job.

My Personal care Assistant should be able to assist with a variety of tasks, Like most people, my day varies so it is difficult to list every task that is expected of a Personal Assistant but includes assistance with the following:

14 hours per week

3 hours 4 per day per week (days to be negotiable)
2 hours 1 day per week (day to be negotiable)

Assistance with ordering and taking medication
Assistance to inform Doctor of health problems

General Tasks

Assistance with Shopping, Preparing and cooking food
Assistance with general cleaning tidying and laundry
Assistance with washing dishes and keeping a cleaning kitchen
Well organised and reliable with paper work and admin

Good communication and people skills
Assistance when going out for a walk
Assistance when shopping for pleasure
Positive and compassionate attitude
Well organised and reliable

Desirable
Current driving licence
Assistance with any other reasonable task within my assessed needs
