About The Role


Eliburn


20 hours per week (Waken night shift twice a week)

 

£12 per hour

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!


We are looking for the right Personal Assistant to Join our Night Shift Team in Eliburn Livingston, you would be supporting four individuals with learning disability's and varying physical needs that live in a care home. All of the individuals that live in the care home depend on your support in all aspects of their care including support with personal care. 


Below is a brief description of the individuals you would be supporting.


"Hello my name is Kelly, I am a chatty person that is full of life. I love to get out and am very sociable. I enjoy going for lunch and for drives in the car. I am a good bowler and enjoy playing lawn bowls"

 

"Hi my name is Sharon, and I enjoy meeting new people. I have a great memory and really enjoy hearing stories and learning about new people. I enjoy going to the bingo and enjoy exercise classes."

 

"Hi my name is Chris and I communicate with you in different ways. I am a kind affectionate man, and have a good sense of humour and enjoy making others laugh. I need support to move around as I am on a wheelchair." 

 

"Hi my name is John and I am a quiet individual but can communicate with you in other ways. I am in a wheelchair and need help to get around."
