Full Job Description
- Mon-Fri : 8.30am-5pm (40 hours per week)
- As a Pharmacy Dispenser you will assist the Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of our patients medications. We are looking for someone who is accurate in their approach and able to provide exceptional service all round. Are you friendly, organised and enthusiastic about providing outstanding patient care and great service to the local community? As a Right Medicine Pharmacy Dispenser, youll work as part of the Pharmacy team along with Pharmacy Assistants, Technicians and the Pharmacist to provide the Right care for our patients and customers. The role will involve assisting the Pharmacist and Technicians in the labelling, endorsing, ordering and preparation of all types of prescriptions and medicine orders, co-ordinating daily and weekly prescriptions ensuring where necessary, scripts are re-ordered and all items are made up in advance ready for collection or delivery, dealing directly with patients in obtaining medical information and dispensing prescriptions along with any other duties essential to the smooth operation of the Pharmacy.
We are ideally looking for someone who has Pharmacy experience in dispensing of medication via the formal pharmacy training route however, this is not essential and applications are welcome from those looking to progress into a role within Pharmacy., You should have the ability to work in a busy, fast paced healthcare environment, be reliable, have excellent customer service skills along with a friendly personality that our patients can trust!

This role is one that will require a number of formal training programmes that require completion both in working hours, but also sometime outside of working hours.
