Full Job Description

Applications are invited from individuals with an interest in healthcare to join the pharmacy service in Ninewells.
We require a dedicated and reliable pharmacy support worker who can integrate well into our existing team. The role will include providing ward stock management services, picking and distributing medicines and checking stock. Participation in weekend, public holiday and extended hours rotas is required. Hospital or pharmacy experience is not essential as the post holder will receive full training once in post.

- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible and able to adjust to the needs of the service on a daily basis
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use a keyboard, computer and other electronic devices / equipment
You must have a commitment to achieving appropriate units of the S/NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or recognised equivalent qualification, if not already qualified.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: 37 hours per week, plus participation in weekend working and public holiday rotas. Fixed Term/Secondment to 31 March 2025.
