Full Job Description

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Support Workers to join our Pharmacy Stores and Distribution Team. These posts involve extensive physical activity and manual handling. This includes walking long distances throughout the hospital, using trolleys and pallet trucks to transport goods, driving a mid-size NHS van, loading goods on to and off of trolleys and moving and handling boxes of various sizes and weights. Please consider if this post is right for you before applying.

Previous experience in a Pharmacy or store/warehouse environment is desirable. Post holders will be expected to work towards an NVQ2 qualification in pharmacy services once in post. The post holder(s) will be required to participate in weekend and public holiday rotas.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
