Full Job Description

  • Work primarily across Inpatients treating a range of post-op orthopaedic conditions

  • Contribute to pre-assessment through clinical assessment of complex orthopaedic patients contributing to risk assessment prior to surgery

  • Be part of our multidisciplinary team of nurses, AHPs and consultants, supported by our hospital Physiotherapy Manager and a team of specialist physiotherapists

  • Help our patients achieve, maintain and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing

  • Deliver excellent clinical care that's safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive to patients' needs

  • Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes

  • Enjoy protected CPD time and access to programmes and events by the Nuffield Health Academy

  • Experience treating post-operative orthopaedic patients in an outpatient setting is also desirable.

    Located in the heart of the West End of Glasgow; you will be working at one of Scotland's leading private hospitals. This year, we embarked on phase three of our multi-million pound refurbishment, adding state of the art equipment like our Mako robotic arm for orthopaedic surgery and a new ambulatory theatre. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.

    As a Physiotherapist at our Glasgow Hospital, you'll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You'll also have excellent soft skills, thrive in a team environment and be committed to developing as a practitioner. You're a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.
