Planner

Anderson Knight is recruiting Planner’s for a well-established, national client based in Glasgow. 

This role is critical in ensuring the effective and efficient day-to-day planning and scheduling of engineers' routes and workloads across various reactive and planned service contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule engineers' routes and workloads for both reactive and planned service contracts.

• Ensure efficient allocation of resources to meet service demands.

• Monitor daily schedules and adjust as needed to accommodate changes and emergencies.

• Communicate effectively with engineers and other team members to ensure clarity and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of schedules, work orders, and completed tasks.

• Collaborate with the Services Manager to meet SLA and KPI targets.

• Assist in the procurement of necessary equipment and spare parts as required.

Working Hours:

• Typically working 5 days over 7.

• Shift pattern on rotation:

o 07:00 - 15:30

o 09:00 - 17:30

o 11:30 - 20:00

Salary: £26,738 rising to £27,738 after 4 months.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong organisational and planning skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Experience in a similar role or the service industry is preferred but not essential.

• Strong customer service skills.
