Full Job Description

We have a current requirement for a Planner to join our Engineered Solutions business stream based in Glasgow on a permanent basis. The Planning role is to identify and reduce risks which may affect the programme of work. You will relay information gathered to relevant work planners and inform the delivery team, and clients, of the likelihood of delays relating to compensation events or health and safety issues which would prevent work taking place.,

  • Direct planning relating to the incoming workflow and any client mailbox

  • Responsible for the creation of job packs and technical data entry

  • Fully engaged in the planning of work activities from survey to execution of live jobs.

  • Fully manage all spare parts requirements

  • Develop use of agreed planning tools and functions

  • Creation of Risk Assessment documentation, safety documentation and Method Statements relating to Permit To Work systems.

  • Able communicator on all levels across the company.

  • Responsible for the management of the Job Trackers engaged with work activities

  • Responsible for the creation of report templates and technical reports.

  • Management of minor elements within job delivery work programmes

  • Support of all elements relating to work quality

  • Responsible for the creation of reports and maintaining the KPIs relating to the Delivery team.

  • Liaises with site teams and individuals as required

  • All other duties as requested

    To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a Planning or project coordinator role, you will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of team.
