Salary: Grade 10 £50,718 - £53,786                                                     PORTAL REF: INV05801

Location: Municipal Buildings, Clyde Square

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

 

Employability & Skills Team Leader

 

Sitting within the Regeneration Service, the Employability & Skills Team Leader will play a key role in the Council’s aim of reducing local unemployment/inactivity and improving the skills of local residents.  The post holder will manage a small team to deliver and/or source an All Age, person-centred employability service, working with unemployed/inactive local residents and also those in lower skilled/paid employment. 

 

Management and evaluation of contracted provision and taking the lead in the Local Employability Partnership are also key aspects of the post, as is supporting the team to undertake employer engagement to access fair and sustainable employment opportunities for clients.

 

The post holder will lead on establishing appropriate structures and processes to achieve compliance requirements across a range of internal and external funding sources.  Ensuring compliance with performance standards, council policies/procedures and corporate governance are also a remit of the post, as is budgetary planning and financial management.

Vetting by Disclosure Scotland
