Full Job Description

Role:

We are currently seeking a Plant and Logistics Administrator to join our Surfacing Solutions business, which covers South Scotland. Working closely with the Plant Manager, the Plant and Logistics Administrator will assist with all general administration duties including supporting the wider administration team when required. The role will be based at Uddingston, however travel to other sites in the Central belt will be required. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of owned/hired plant and equipment fleet used in our daily operations.
  • Operational Logistics – movement of owned, hired plant and equipment between our sites using an internal and external resource.
  • Financials 
  • Purchase orders (plant/vehicle hire, Consumables, PPE).
  • Cost/revenues recharges to jobs/projects.
  • Cost Management. 
  • Creating reports and spreadsheets using computer software – Reflow/Excel/Word
  • Keeping records of all owned or hired machinery – Asset registers/Maintenance records etc
  • Working with our hired plant and equipment partners to meet operational needs.
  • Close working relationship with our operational teams.
