Full Job Description
We are seeking two Plant Attendants to join our clients team at their site in Fife. As part of the maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
Plant Attendant Key Responsibilities:
- Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ): Uphold HSEQ standards by identifying and mitigating potential hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as front-loading shovels, forklifts, and telehandlers while supporting plant repairs and emergency response activities.
- Plant Inspections: Perform routine inspections, promptly report defects, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the plant.
- Material and Waste Management: Handle COSHH materials appropriately, minimize waste, and ensure proper storage and handling of stock and equipment.
- Incident Reporting and Improvement Suggestions: Report any accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions and contribute to refining operating instructions and risk assessments.
Plant Attendant Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: O Level or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience: Experience or certification in operating mobile plant equipment is an advantage.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with HSE standards and safe operational procedures.
- Emergency Response: Ability to respond effectively and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

- £30,000 Base
