Full Job Description

The role is in the Platform Investments team within the Chief Investment Office, and will focus on activities arising from fund launch and change on our Workplace Savings platform. This activity will involve:

  • Collation of data, Instruction of new funds, and oversight of 6 weekly fund launch cycle.
  • Collation of data, Instruction of fund change requests and oversight of fund change process.
  • Active participation in fund launch and change pipeline meeting and other associated meetings.
  • Maintenance and development of core controls and processes.
  • Acting as an SME on Projects and other activities across the wider team as required.
  • The role will involve liaising with multiple stakeholders across the business including (but not limited to) Investments Governance, Fund Factsheets & Reporting, Proposition teams, Distribution and Client Management, Finance Middle Office and Third Party Oversight.

  • Previous experience and good understanding of life and pension products and investments, as well as investments operations and in particular workplace savings.
  • Experience of handling a high volume of data.
  • Strong partnering and stakeholder management skills to enable you to liaise with many colleagues across Scottish Widows and with external companies.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with an ability to adapt to a flexible agenda.
  • A can do attitude to delivering in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer focus and continuous improvement approach.
