Full Job Description

Our PE&D Team helps clients capitalise on the opportunities presented, and manage the risks posed, by ever growing connectivity and PLM technologies. Our PE&D team supports product and asset lifecycle management and process design by bridging the gap between engineering and operations through:

  • Demonstrating best practice to clients and helping them define their own PLM enabled vision, their strategy for reaching it and the initiatives required to execute their strategy
  • Understanding clients' requirements to define differentiating product solutions
  • Engaging with clients to understand and solve their business challenges throughout the Product and Asset lifecycle within their operational context
  • Partnering with clients and vendors to evaluate, select and implement solutions across the maturity scale, from exploratory proof of concepts to large scale integrations
  • Cross-sector, applied industry experience that anchors solutions to business problems
  • Access to a comprehensive partner ecosystem of leading vendors in the PLM market
  • A result-oriented agile / rapid prototyping approach
  • Market-shaping, cutting-edge thought leadership around PLM concepts and opportunities
  • Our PE&D team works with the wider Deloitte consulting firm, across multiple disciplines. This provides lots of opportunity to serve clients and work across wide reaching projects to expand your knowledge and experience.

    We need someone who is technically minded but also comfortable engaging with clients to understand their business problems and deliver solutions. We are looking for individuals with a natural propensity for problem solving, who recognise the mix of talents it takes to develop creative, impactful solutions and can balance them within a team.,
  • Experience of working in technical roles with PLM toolsets and other engineering systems (e.g. requirements management, MBSE, ALM, etc)
  • Experience of the management and development of client and internal stakeholder relationships
  • Strong team management experience
  • Experience of conducting process design and application architecture for industrial product design applications
  • The ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies to evaluate the emerging and changing business needs of our clients
  • Enjoys working within diverse and hybrid-located teams
  • Professional working proficiency in the English language
  • Preferred:
  • Solution Architect Certification in a PLM Toolset
  • Knowledge and experience of Cloud and Infrastructure platforms in a PLM context
  • Experience developing sales materials and bids around PLM and Digital Engineering

Connect to your opportunity As a member of the Product Engineering & Development team at Manager level, you will be a technical Subject Matter Expert for designing and developing PLM solutions and leading consulting teams to deliver these solutions for our clients:
  • Working directly with our clients' Engineering and IT teams understanding and interpreting business challenges through to designing and delivering innovative solutions aligned with industry standards
  • Leading the development and maintenance of our internal Deloitte PLM Digital Thread solution enhancing its capability and keeping it up to date with latest technological development and industry trends, Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships).
