Plumber

Morgan Hunt are working with a large maintenance organisation to recruit plumbers to join there team on a permanent basis. You will be joining an organisation who pride themselves on maintaining there properties to the highest standards, ensuring safe and comfortable living environments for residents.

As a Maintenance Plumber, you will play a key role in ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and that plumbing issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and plumbing installations in tenant's homes, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of residents.

• Carry out general plumbing repairs and maintenance, including leak repairs, drainage issues, and pipework installations.
• Install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and radiators.
• Respond to emergency call-outs for urgent plumbing issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Work in accordance with health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants, ensuring that all works are carried out to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used and time taken.
• Collaborate with other trades and maintenance teams to complete larger repair and refurbishment projects.
• Participate in an on-call rota to respond to out-of-hours emergencies.

• SVQLevel or equivalent qualification in Plumbing.
• Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repairs, preferably within a residential or social housing environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to plumbing and maintenance work.
• Ability to diagnose plumbing issues and offer cost-effective solutions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
