Policy Coordinator - Human Capital Management (HCM) Centralised Policy Office Coordinator (equivalent to AVP)

  • We're seeking someone to join within the HCM Centralized Policy Office which is responsible for coordination and publication of HCM's Divisional and employee-related policies and procedures, liaising with key stakeholders with employment lawyers, HR colleagues, as well as those in Non-Financial Risk (NFR). You'll play a key role to the HCM team by providing oversight and guidance on Firmwide programs and publications of HCM's policies and procedures to ensure global teams are adhering to minimum standards and timely updates of associated deliverables. In the Human Resources division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward, and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed. This is a Director level position within the HCM Chief Administrative team., To be successful in this role, the candidate must demonstrate proficiency in drafting and textual refinement, be a self-starter capable of solving complex problems, be able to multi-task across a variety of projects and processes, be a succinct and accurate communicator, and be attentive to details. Principal Responsibilities: · Draft, develop, and update HCM policies, with a focus on US labor law policies, consistent with applicable and updated employment-related regulations and compliance, Firm standards, best practices, and organisational needs. · Execute long-term strategy for driving changes to HCM policy considering evolving legal obligations and organisational goals and needs. · Conduct evaluation of HCM policies including their impact and effectiveness with a focus on US labor law policies. · Advise HCM stakeholders regarding HCM policies and any required / necessary changes. · Research / benchmark industry best practices and recommend policy changes. · Communicate policy changes to the organisation, as needed. · Coordinate with Owners/Contributors on the publication and project management of global and regional HCM Policies, Procedures, and other related documents (i.e., Documentation) used across the global teams within HCM. · Partner with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure critical dependencies are prioritised and appropriately communicate on related changes in a consistent manner. · Build and maintain relationships within HCM, Non-Financial Risk, and other divisional counterparts. · Document relevant metadata elements for use by development teams. · Other projects & work as needed related to the responsibilities of the HCM Programs Compliance team.

    · At least 6 years work-related experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role. · A deep experience in drafting, copyediting, and/or content creation and refinement. · Work effectively in cross-functional teams, having demonstrated strong partnerships with both internal and external business partners and alliances. · Self-starter with strong and creative problem-solving skills who is able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment. · Succinctly communicate ideas / recommendations orally and in writing to a wide range of audiences, as well as exceptional listening and presentation skills. · Successful candidate will have a roll up your sleeves, can-do mindset. · Experience in Human Capital Management / Human Resources, Legal Sector, and/or Financial Services desirable. · Proficient with Microsoft Suite, primarily Word, Excel, and Power Point. · Knowledge of GenAI and Compliance documentation best practices are a plus.
