Pertemps are delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting Postal Delivery Workers across Scotland.

We have positions located across all regions of Scotland and we would love to hear from you if you're looking for a temp position across the festive period!

Key Responsibilities:

- You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered
- You'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next
- The role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 8 miles per day. You will also be required to carry a bag, delivering letters and parcels
- Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a trolley during deliveries

Key Requirements:

- MUST hold a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points. (a clean license is preferred)
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
- Working outdoors in all weathers is required
- Able to work 5 days out of 7 including potential day at the weekend
