As a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Risk Engineering and Architecture Team in Corporate Technology, you provide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies, as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions. Leverage your advanced architecture capabilities and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive best-in-class outcomes.,

  • Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies
  • Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities
  • Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design
  • Serves as the function's go-to subject matter expert
  • Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions
  • Develops and documents blueprints for technology teams to follow

    Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and expert applied experience
  • Advanced experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines
  • Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives
  • Ability to quickly come up to speed on new technical and functional problem areas
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience working with large, globally diverse organisations
  • Experience working in finance or another highly regulated industry
  • Experience with large interconnected systems and grid compute platforms
  • Experience with Market, Credit or Liquidity Risk functions
