As a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Risk Engineering and Architecture Team in Corporate Technology, you provide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies, as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions. Leverage your advanced architecture capabilities and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive best-in-class outcomes.,
- Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies
- Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities
- Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design
- Serves as the function's go-to subject matter expert
- Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions
- Develops and documents blueprints for technology teams to follow
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and expert applied experience - Advanced experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines
- Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives
- Ability to quickly come up to speed on new technical and functional problem areas
- Strong communication and organisational skills Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working with large, globally diverse organisations
- Experience working in finance or another highly regulated industry
- Experience with large interconnected systems and grid compute platforms
- Experience with Market, Credit or Liquidity Risk functions
