Full Job Description

  • Lead the delivery of the Date Governance/Assurance framework to the RCD Programme
  • Delivery of data governance and assurance awareness and training across the business
  • The creation of the programme's data models and Information Asset Register
  • Creation of specification documents for new data management requirements
  • Implementation of Data Principles across the programme
  • Ensuring the resolution of data quality issues are completed and suitable processes are in place to stop repeat of issue
  • Maintaining and assuring Data Standards and Policies, The Principal Data Governance Engineer will work closely with key stakeholders within the programme identifying and resolving data quality issues. Implementing the data governance framework within the programme.

    Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Good engineering and data quality knowledge
  • IT skills, Microsoft and Excel for data analytics
  • Desirable:
  • Experience leading a team
  • The ability to articulate complex issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience using Tableau and Jira
