An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Principal Pharmacist - Community Pharmacy based at Ailsa Hospital.

What you will do:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the teams supporting developments in Community Pharmacy and Primary Care in Ayrshire & Arran.  NHS Ayrshire & Arran along with East, North and South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnerships are committed to a whole system approach to health and care which offers teams the opportunity to think differently about service delivery, encourages innovation and collaborative working across all sectors.  This post will focus on collaborative working between primary care and community pharmacy whilst seeking to work collaboratively with the teams in acute in support of Caring for Ayrshire.  You will also have responsibility for pharmaceutical public health.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You will need to have a strong patient focus, good leadership skills, experience of service development and improvement and a broad range of experience of pharmacy practice in community pharmacy and/or primary care.       

You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Hours: 37 per week.
