Post Title: Principal Repairs Officer
Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £42,879 - £46,410 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To provide a locally responsive, efficient, effective, customer focused, local repairs and maintenance service. Be responsible for achieving key performance targets locally. Ensure that statutory requirements are met and that the Service’s responsibilities are carried out to the highest standards within the area.

Requirements
Suitable technical qualification and experience of the building industry.
Good knowledge of legislation, policy and good practice in relation to construction and building maintenance services.
Experience of supervision / management of staff / building trade functions.
Suitable training / qualifications in Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively throughout the local operational
area to deliver the duties of your post.
