Job Description

What is the role?

Principal Teacher - To be responsible for the leadership, good management and strategic direction of colleagues, and be committed to critical self-evaluation and be fully responsible for duties allocated to the post of Principal Teacher.

Primary Teacher - To be responsible and accountable for delivering teaching services in accordance with the Council’s overall Education strategy objectives.

Extra Information:

The Grade of the Principal Teacher (17.5hrs) post is PT1 with an annual salary of £26,448.

The Grade of the Primary Teacher (17.5hrs) post is Teacher (Maingrade) with an annual salary from £19,327 to £24,258.

Please note this post is temporary until 27 June 2025.
