Balfron High is a six-year, vibrant, high attaining comprehensive school serving a large rural catchment area in West Stirlingshire. The village of Balfron is situated 20 miles from Glasgow and Stirling; a beautiful commute from either direction.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Principal Teacher of Pupil Support temporary until 27th June 2025. Rather than being linked to a department in the school, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordination and delivery of elements of a bespoke curriculum for targeted young people. The school is keen to appoint a teacher who is inclusive and firmly committed to working with young people who have barriers to accessing a fully mainstream curriculum. The successful candidate will put children and their needs first. We are looking for someone who is positive, professional and passionate about inclusion and learning.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
