Baker Hughes Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) supports the full lifecycle of customers' asset from pre-commissioning to decommissioning. We help to reduce future corrosion, improve efficiency and maximize throughput. Our engineered solutions for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance shutdowns include specialized services for the oil and gas, power generation, metals and mining, and other process industries.

Collaborate with the best

As a Process & Pipeline Maintenance Supervisor, you'll coordinate and oversee work at the field site. This includes, but is not limited to clean up, repair, and preparation of nitrogen and fluid pump equipment for the next job. The job role may also include sales, job design, execution, and follow up activities.

As a Process & Pipeline Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining assigned nitrogen tanks, nitrogen pumps and fluid pumps in accordance with operating specifications.


  • Routinely refurbish equipment.


  • Conducting mechanical inspections.


  • May use moderately complex diagnostic equipment.


  • Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.


  • Configuring test stations and systems.


  • Troubleshoot equipment problems.


  • Maintaining records and scheduling maintenance of equipment .


  • Providing supervision, mentorship and leadership of technicians and apprentices.


  • Maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.


  • Inspection and disposition of parts and equipment.


  • Manage compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

    Have a high school diploma / GED (two-year technical diploma or associate diploma in a Mechanical field preferred).


  • Have working experience on nitrogen pumps, nitrogen tanks and fluid pumps.


  • Have good mechanical aptitude, including developing skills in use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.


  • Have excellent functional / technical, customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.


  • Have prior industry related experience.


  • Have analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems.
