Full Job Description

This role sits in a small but perfectly formed team responsible for engaging with the business in understanding and getting the best out of their digital products. The Product Analyst will be the key connector between the commercial function and the rest of the team, driving business engagement at a detailed level. You'll work closely with the Product Owner, scoping out processes, creating demos, gathering feedback and presenting it in an engaging and understanding manner. There will be a real requirement to form relationships with the business and end users in order to understand the requirements as well as taking vague feedback and translating this into something meaningful and actionable. So what will you be doing? Here's some of the key accountabilities.

  • Gather requirements and feedback to support project delivery.
  • Facilitate business process modelling.
  • Identify business process improvement opportunities in relation to business priorities and strategy and facilitate improvement and potential re-engineering.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders to be able to negotiate and influence and be regarded as key enabler in supporting business change., Our office sites operate a hybrid model. You'll spend Tuesdays, Thursdays and one other day in the office and two days from home, although but you're more than welcome to come and work from the office on those days too.
  • We're currently gearing up for an exciting move! In 2025, we'll be relocating from our current location at Broadway Park (on the outskirts of Edinburgh) to a modern, flexible working space in the heart of the city centre. The move to our new home at 6 St Andrew Square is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2025, subject to detailed planning and relevant approvals. The site will have great transport links and will be just a five minute walk from Waverley station. There'll be plenty of support for colleagues during the transition to the new location, so stay tuned, and once you're onboard you'll have access to a SharePoint site with further details. You'll need to be able to present feedback in an engaging way, flexing your style to suit your audience in order to keep everyone clear and projects moving. If you have;
  • Minimum one years experience desirable.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • The ability to coach and mentor stakeholders.
  • Proven ability and skills in communicating to all levels of the business using a variety of methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with commercial product owner teams to reach the desired outcomes.
  • Experience of managing multiple pieces of work and differing priorities.
