Production Assembly Operators

Alba Ultrasound is a world-leading company in the design and manufacture of ultrasonic transducers and arrays, collaborating with industry-leading clients across defence, oil & gas, commercial and scientific markets. To support continual growth an excellent opportunity exists for a permanent full-time Production Assembly Operators to join the team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Glasgow

The role is based in a high-tech production and manufacturing environment where attention to detail is essential. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who can operate as part of a team. 

The permanent position is on a standard dayshift pattern Monday to Friday and offers competitive salary and pension scheme. All training requirements will be provided. 

Key responsibilities

• Hand soldering and wire preparation in accordance with IPC Standards
• Operate automated equipment in accordance with SOPs
• Assembly of precision components using various jigs/fixtures and two-part epoxies ensuring quality requirements are achieved. 
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping within the assembly area.
• Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures and complete all Product specific documentation in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
• Mechanical assembly of low volume high mix bespoke components to tight tolerances. 
• Work in accordance with Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety procedures and processes
