PRODUCTION ASSISTANT (Shellfish Processing)

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our HEBRIDEAN MUSSELS TEAM, assisting with the farming and processing of shellfish at our EARSHADER site, located on the ISLE OF LEWIS, OUTER HEBRIDES. The ideal person will be able to work well within a small, focused team. Previous aquaculture experience is not required as full training will be provided. The role will involve working outside, as well as inside the site's Mussel Farm Centre.

Day to day duties will vary and include:

Husbandry and harvesting of shellfish using designated equipment.

Grading and packing shellfish.

Assisting with transporting shellfish to designated areas.

A range of cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the site.

28 days holiday per annum (pro-rata).
