Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to become a Production Operative with our expanding Kinross based client.

Due to recent success, our client is growing and looking to expand the team by recruiting Production Operatives. Full training is provided to allow you to reach your full potential!

What's on offer? Along with immediate starts; full training; and a supportive working environment, you will benefit from a salary of 14.16 to 14.68 per hour, with a shift to suit you - Back Shift & Night Shift Available.

  • Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11:15pm (with an early Friday finish) @ 14.16 p/h
  • Night Shift: Sunday, 12am to 7am & Monday to Thursday, 11pm to 7am @ 14.68 p/h

Working as a Production Operative you will be responsible for:

  • Operating a wide range of production machinery
  • Inspecting finished items ensuring they are of the highest quality
  • Cleaning production machinery
  • Informing Supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues
  • Monitoring the production line ensuring a smooth flow of production
  • Inspecting finished items ensuring they are of the highest quality
  • Storing goods and raw materials in the warehouse
  • Adhering to relevant H&S regulations when operating machinery and handling products
  • Keeping work areas and the production floor clean and free from hazards
  • Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines

To be successful as a Production Operative you will ideally have previous experience in a production, manufacturing or similar environment. Combined with a good level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; the ability to work on your own and as part of a team; and great attention to detail. The successful candidate must also be able to pass a colour-blind test.
