Full Job Description

As a Production Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Managing the Health and Safety of all employees and visitors within a zero-tolerance health and safety culture. Day-to-day, you'll Have the following responsibilities:

  • Monitor work in progress against the plan. Reviewing weekly using 12 weeks look ahead.
  • Ensure work is carried out in line with contractual requirements.
  • Demonstrate leadership and control of a production team.
  • Encourage continuous improvement through Lfe and carry out effective communications.
  • Chair and/or attend progress meeting with Support group support centres as required. Includes Hull & M.E, W.E accommodation and aviation.
  • This role is full time and based onsite at Rosyth. This role is Mon-Thurs 7.30-17.00, with overtime available.

  • Knowledge of Ship Building required.
  • Time Served Trade required.
  • Knowledge of Zone working preferred
  • Knowledge of Interrogating Ship Building/welding/fabrication structural drawings required.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project scheduling.
  • Qualifications for the Production Manager:
  • ONC/HNC Preferred but no essential.
  • Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
